Chaminade 8 - Oakville 3

Deja vu. If you take the Lafayette game recap and substitute the word "Oakville" everywhere you see "Lafayette" and you would understand what happened in this game. Even the referees were exactly the same (not just in quality, but in name too). Again, we battled through some adversity and triumphed over a team that preferred to kick and grab rather than swim and play. Now that we know we can play a team like that and succeed, now we need to turn the corner and start playing our game, regardless of what the other team tries to do. It starts with playing higher in the water, which is something you will see me harp on the boys from this point forward.

The "Things" section is a repeat of the Lafayette game as well. We do a great job keeping our heads and not letting the referees or the other team get to us. There were signs of leaving the Spring Break rust behind us and we finally capitalized on a 6-on-5 chance.
